Victoria Park aviary animal infographics

Victoria Park's aviary was originally built in the late 19th century, and has housed a variety of different animals over its lifetime. It is one of the main attractions of the park, particularly for young people, however there was not much information about its inhabitants available.

As part of the park's restoration and revitalisation project, which aims to create a place where local people can improve wellbeing, increase learning and access new opportunities, I was commissioned to create digital infographics to inform visitors about the different species currently residing in the aviary.

The project involved visiting the Aviary and researching the species who call it home, before creating digital illustrations of each animal and combining these with icons and information about them, to create a set of informative, interesting, and visually appealing infographics.

This is an ongoing project, with three infographics created so far, and more to be added in the future.
